Terms & Conditions

By purchasing any items from Furniture Wholesalers Australia on this website you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply notwithstanding any other information contained on this website or anywhere else.

Warranty
  • Furniture Wholesalers Australia electric standing desk frames come with 5 years warranty
  • The 5 year warranty covers the desk frame and all electrical components.
  • The warranty covers any material faults in the desk frame that prevent the normal use of the desk.
  • The warranty does not cover:

    - Decline in performance that can occur with use that is not "Normal Use"

    - Normal wear and tear from use over time

    - Use outdoors or in environments with high heat, high humidity or high salinity

    - Repairs, alterations or modifications performed by anyone not authorised by Furniture Wholesalers Australia

    - Defects caused in whole or in part by misuse, abuse, abnormal handling, negligence, impact, accident, fire or water damage and electrical overload; and

    - Repair or replacement of other property damaged by a defective product or the cost of lost time/loss of use are not recoverable under this warranty

    - Damage caused by incorrect or inaccurate assembly / disassembly, inappropriate cleaning supplies used, misuse or abuse, using the desk frame with products not appropriate for the desk frame, modifications of the desk frame (unless prior written approval is received from Furniture Wholesalers Australia)

  • The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable
  • If the item is sold by a third party or drop shipped, Furniture Wholesalers Australia will only honour the remaining warranty to the original purchaser
  • The warranty is only valid for purchases made from this website
  • If you break the desk or any components from misuse, the warranty is void on those components. If they need replacing, you will be required to purchase the replacement part. Please contact us if you need replacement parts, as we keep most spare parts on hand
Claiming Warranty

If you wish to claim your warranty, please email us at furniturewholesalersaustralia@gmail.com explaining what has happened. Include in your email the following:

  • - A photo of the back of the control panel (so we know what model you have)
  • - A photo of the front of the control panel (so we know what model you have)
  • - A video attachment that clearly shows the fault (so we can try to diagnose the problem for you). Video attachments should be sent via wetransfer.com or attached in your email

Once we have all of this information we can assess the warranty claim. You may be required to send faulty parts to our warehouse for inspection.

If your product is faulty, we will replace the faulty component with an identical product. If we cannot replace the component, we will offer you a refund of the purchase price, minus any shipping fees.

Desktops

Furniture Wholesalers Australia desktops purchased on this website come with a 5 year warranty. The warranty does not cover:

  • Natural timber products that experience natural shifting of colour over time or due to light exposure
  • Normal wear and tear from use over time
  • Damage caused by incorrect or inaccurate assembly / disassembly, inappropriate cleaning supplies used, misuse or abuse, using the desk top with products not appropriate for the desk top, or force majeure, such as floods, fire or hurricanes
  • Modifications to the desk top excluding:

    - Grommet holes installed by Furniture Wholesalers Australia

    - If prior written approval is received from Furniture Wholesalers Australia

  • Inconsistency of colour, texture or pattern of the grain across purchases. As timber is a natural product no two timber products will be identical
  • The colour fastness of the desktop over its lifespan. You can expect the timber to slighly chnage colour over time depending on factors such as light exposure etc
  • Natural timber desktops that are sold in a raw or unsealed state
Shipping

Authority to Leave

All orders will be marked as "Authority to Leave". If you do not wish for your order to be marked "Authority to Leave", please let us know before ordering as additional charges from our shipping partners will apply.

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email and tracking number, so you can follow your package as it makes its way to you. However, tracking information can take up to 24 hours to update, so don't worry if it doesn't show up immediately. We recommend tracking your order and ensuring that you're home on the day of delivery to receive your order.

Products Damaged in Transit

All products leave our warehouse in perfect condition and are checked prior to shipping by our quality assurance engineers. If they arrive to you damaged, this has occurred in transit. In such instances, you will be entitled to receive a replacement. If a replacement is not possible, you will be entitled to receive a refund up to the value of your damaged product.

To claim and receive your replacement product or refund, you must contact Furniture Wholesalers Australia via email within 24 hours of receiving your product(s) to report the damage. Please send photos of the damaged product to us via email furniturewholesalersaustralia@gmail.com. Items not claimed within 24 hours if any damage has occurred during transit/delivery may not be covered by insurance & hence may not be covered.
